Control the Mold
10/3/2016 (Permalink)
Mold is most likely to grow in a moist atmosphere, so it is common for mold to appear in your home after a flood or as leak. Although mold is expected to appear in moist areas, action should be taken immediately after it begins to grow to prevent the fungus from spreading. Mold can cause allergic reactions such as, watery eyes, runny nose and coughing. The best way to prevent mold from occurring is by controlling the moisture in your home. Molds are not limited to growing on one particular surface; mold can grow on your walls, floors, carpets, appliances, and furniture. A way to control the moisture in your home is by recognizing some common sources such as indoor plumbing leaks, humidifiers, flooding, or even wet clothes drying inside the home.
